Lilla Bjers in the parish of Västerhejde is situated 7 km south of Visby just off the road leading from Toftavägen to the church of Västerhejde on the island of Gotland, Sweden. The main crop on the farm is ecological vegetables from outdoor cultivation and everything grown here carries the KRAV-label (which certifies ecological farming) since the year 2001.

Lilla Bjers has one of the largest plantations of white asparagus in the whole of Sweden. Strawberries, potatoes, fresh and dried garlic, onions and root vegetables are grown here, too. On the farm there are also spices, tomatoes, peppers, sweet peppers, beans, sweet corn and melons, which are sold as far as supplies admit.

Within one year, we harvest at least 150 different things at Lilla Bjers. In our farm shop, you will find the freshly harvested products, which vary with the changing of the seasons. Our art handicraft is also sold here.

Opening hours (summer): May 15 – August 15: Mo – Fri 10 – 18, Sat and Sun 10 – 15.

Opening hours (winter): Sat 10 – 13 (for as long as there are potatoes, onions and garlic in store).

Starting at the time of Lucia celebrations (Dec 13) and until Christmas Eve, the farm shop is open daily. This is when we sell our Christmas trees.
